2010 Cub and Webelos Camp – 2010: 100 Years of Adventure!

Cub Scout summer camps are a super opportunity for your son or sons to enjoy the great outdoors while creating memories and friendships to last a lifetime. This year we’re pleased to offer 13 different Cub Scout camps throughout June, July and August, plus seven exciting Cub Scout and family activity and camping opportunities throughout the year. Each camp offers different activities, hours, and a variety of locations. Camps start June 14 and run through August 6.

Cub Day Camp: Day Camp is truly the best part of a Cub Scout’s summer. Day Camp is a five-day experience for Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Cub Scouts (boys who are entering grades 2 – 5 in the fall of 2010). Each camp offers a variety of activities, such as crafts, games, archery, BB guns, sports, and Scout skills. Each camp also offers Cub Scouts opportunities to earn belt loops and pins that they can only earn during an organized camp.

This year, we are pleased to be able offer Cub Scout Day Camps at Chesebrough Scout Reservation (new this year!) and at three different Valley locations. Click on the "Cub Twilight and Day Camps" link above to find out more about each of the Cub Scout Day Camps.

Year-Round Camping and Family Day Programs: Fun and camping at Chesebrough Scout Reservation happen year round for families. Come join us for fun and adventure at one of our seven events throughout the year! Links for registration will be added as each event approaches.

Twilight Camp: Twilight Camp is very similar to Day Camp except that it happens between 4:30 – 8:30 in the evening. Twilight Camp offers all of your Cub’s favorite activities and advancement opportunities, but at a more convenient hour for parent participation. This camp promises to be a new and wonderful experience for you and your son. Twilight Camps are open to all Scouts who will be entering grades 1 through 5 in the fall of 2010. That means that Tiger Cub Scouts can go to Twilight Camp with their adult partner!

Resident (Overnight) Camp: Cub Scouts who are ready for the chance to try real Cub Scout camping can participate in two- and three-night adventures at Chesebrough Scout Reservation in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains.
