Scouters like to share good ideas and keep in touch with each other. There are many programs that accomplish this (Facebook, MySpace, Yahoo Groups, etc.).
Because of our concern for the safety of our youth and the integrity and privacy of our Scouters, the BSA has created their own social networking program.
This is a portion of the MyBSA section on the national website. You will need your BSA membership number to create an account. This number is found on your BSA membership card or you can email our office and our registrar can provide you with this number. Click here to email Kyna Hendra.
After you have created an account, click on the link that says "SCOUTING COMMUNITY" in the left panel. Click there and you can create your profile. It's pretty nifty.
We have created a group called the "Santa Clara County Council" (clever, huh). Join that group and others as you like to share information.
