SANTA CLARA COUNTY COUNCIL, BSA
- More than 4,000 volunteers make Scouting one of the county’s most successful community resources and one of the key factors in preparing youth to make the right choices.
- Some 350 businesses, churches, schools and other organizations sponsor one or more troops, packs, or posts.
- The Santa Clara County Council serves most of the county except for the cities of Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto.
- A professional and support staff ensure Scouting in the county runs smoothly and that Scouts can rely on the resources and facilities.
- The council operates two camps, Chesebrough Scout Reservation in the Santa Cruz Mountains and Camp Hi-Sierra in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Sonora.
Here at the Santa Clara County Council we focus on “A Scout’s Life” – where childhood adventures build lifelong lessons.
