Chesebrough Capital Campaign

The Council recently announced their 1.2 million dollar capital campaign to dramtically enhance Camp Chesebrough.  The Council has raised nearly 90% of iit's objective to building a state-of-the-art 2,400 square foot multi-use facility as well as the complete renovation of the current administrative building. Other improvements will include road improvements, and increased water capacity as well as a new camp logo and theme, the "old west."A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for September.

Construction will start in September and is scheduled for completion in June.  The kitchen/administration building and the site for the new building (where the pole barn currently sits) will be closed.  Access to that area will be limited.  Otherwise, the camp is open for regular use.
