Quality District  

Congratulations to Pioneer, Polaris, Sierra, and our Learning for Life districts for earning the Quality District award for 2006.

There are nine requirements and districts must achieve at least seven of them, five of which are required:

1. At least 60% of the units are Quality Units
2. Have a 2% increase in total units
3. Have balanced membership growth (at least one more youth member in each program category than at the end of 2005)
4. Achieve finance goals
5. Achieve unit commissioner goals
6. Achieve on-time unit rechartering goals
7. Have a full district committee
8. Hold a conference with the head of each chartered organization annually
9. Meet youth retention goal

Special recognition should go to Sierra District for earning this award for three years now.

Quality Council

The council met the requirements for Quality Council in 2006.  The last time the council met those requirements was in 2000.
