The Character Awards honors excellence in personal character as displayed through positive ethics, high integrity, and strong character.
A committee of local professionals and community leaders select Santa Clara County leaders to be honored and celebrated by their family, friends and business associates at the San Jose Marriott Hotel on Thursday, June 5, 2008.
This year's honorees are:

Rolanda Pierre-Dixon
Proceeds from this program go to support Learning For Life -- an in school and after school program that provides character education to boy and girls from 1st through 12th grade.
