In 1975, Dr. Frank Bernard was honored with the Distinguished Citizen Award by the Santa Clara County Council. Over the past 35 years, the council has honored many of the leading corporate and community leaders of the Silicon Valley.
We are deilghted to honor Frank and Marilyn Dorsa as the 36th recipients of the Distinguished Citizen Award.
In 1964, Frank and Marilyn purchased the Lark Avenue Car Wash in Los Gatos which grew into the Classic Car Wash.
Frank, son of the co-founder for Eggo frozen waffle, and his wife Marilyn provide a unique shopping experience while at the car wash including Marilyn's costume designed jewelry and an assortment of upsacle items, including wine from their Los Gatos vineyard, La Rusticana. They have been extremely generous to many organizations throughout the valley.
