We place a high priority on encouraging gifts to the Santa Clara County Council endowment fund. This ensures that the council can continue offering its current outstanding programs and that it can also expand to meet the growing needs of its youth and community. To recognize such gifts, the BSA offers three national awards for donors. The Santa Clara County Council Heritage Society are individuals or organizations who have received one of these three awards.
National awards include:
Our Heritage Society will have their annual reception on Tuesday, November 3, at Lockheed Martin at 5:30 pm. Chief Scout Executive Bob Mazzuca will be the featured speaker. Click here to RSVP.

In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Scouting, our council has a unique program to help build our endowment.
Do you know of a Scout leader who deserves some special recognition? An Eagle Scout who did a great project? A chartered organization that has been terrific in supporting your unit?
These are just three examples for special recogntion with a James E. West Fellowship Award. The program allows many individuals to contribute towards the honoree's James E. West award. There are five distinctive patches and the donor receives one of the patches, depending upon the size of his contribution. The patches are available for contributions of $25, $50, $75, $100, and $125. When the total reaches at least $1000, the honoree will receive all the James E. West recognition items PLUS all five patches PLUS a center patch. Click here for more information.
