Scouting for Food is the Council's annual service project to support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties to serve the hungry people in our community
Scouts throughout the County distribute bags during the week in early November and collect those bags for drop off at collection centers on November 15, 2008.
The Scouts are committed to helping where they are needed. Every can and box of food helps. Last year over 100,000 pounds of food were collected. Scouts should set a goal on their own or as a troop.
Get involved. It’s as easy as 1-2-3. Collect food. Volunteer. Check out the Food Bank. Click here for more information or contact the Council Service Center at 408-280-5088.
