One way just about every adult can participate in the Boy Scout program is to serve as a merit badge counselor. Boys can adopt lifelong hobbies or choose career paths based on involvement in a merit badge. A one evening course is required before you can begin to work with the Scouts on their merit badges. Provides overview of the merit badge program, your role as a counselor, and the standards for approving the Scout's work.
Contact the advancement committee if you have any questions.
