2013 Participant Registration Form


Registration Information

Bristlecone National Youth Leadership Training is open to registered Boy Scouts and Venturers who will be at least 13 years old and First Class rank (or equivalent in Girl Scouts or Venturing) by August 4th, 2013. Bristlecone NYLT is for scouts who are expected to hold leadership positions within their troop or crew in the future.


Girl Scouts:
You are more than welcome to join the course, but you need to be registered in a Venture Crew. If you do not know of any Venture Crews, you are welcome to join Crew 551. There is a $16 registration fee for the crew (set by BSA National). Contact Maria Guerra at bristleconeNYLT@gmail.com for more information.


Application Process:
To apply for the 2013 Bristlecone NYLT course, you must:

  1. Fill out this online course application
  2. Turn in the completed Participant Consent Form to the SCCC Service Center
  3. Submit a $50 deposit
  4. Your application will not be considered "submitted" until these 3 steps have been completed


Course Fees:
Total course fees are $250 if paid in full by May 31st, 2013 and $275 thereafter. You must pay the $50 deposit before your application will be considered fully "submitted". You can pay online, in person at the SCCC Service Center, or mail a check (payable to Santa Clara County Council, BSA) to:
