Mandatory Requirements

  1. The chapter experienced positive growth in its membership.
  2. The chapter inducted a minimum of 30% of its eligible Ordeal members into the Brotherhood honor.
  3. The chapter had a minimum of 75% of their leadership attend the Lodge Leadership Development (Lodge Officer Training).
  4. The chapter completed a service project for the district they are associated with. A written report shall be presented to the Lodge at the completion of the project.
  5. The chapter participated in the Lodge sponsored service project to the council.
  6. The chapter shall contact each troop and team in their district, then conduct an OA Election in every unit which desires one.
  7. The chapter contacted all troops and teams in their district for the implementation of the OA Troop/Team Representation program. The chapter shall have a minimum of 75% unit participation for units, which have OA members.
  8. The chapter leadership shall create an Annual Plan of goals for the chapter. A copy of this plan shall be presented to the Lodge Executive Committee (LEC) at their January meeting.
  9. The chapter shall promote the Lodge Camping Promotion Plan to their district. The chapter shall contact and then promote this plan for a minimum of 75% of their units which request one.
  10. The chapter actively promotes, supports, and attends Lodge events and activities.


Optional Requirements (8 minimum)

  1. The chapter shall promote and sell the Lodge Where to go Camping CD/Book.
  2. The chapter Key 3 shall meet at least 4 times each year.
  3. The chapter chief or his representative attends all Lodge LEC Meetings.
  4. The chapter shall submit articles for all Lodge publications when requested.
  5. The chapter shall submit information for their portion of the Lodge Website.
  6. The chapter shall contribute to the Lodge's contribution to the council's endowment fond. A minimum of $200 contribution is required.
  7. The chapter shall recruit 2 (minimum) Elangomat-Nimat for each Ordeal. It shall also support the Elangomat in their completion of their goal.
  8. The chapter shall maintain a chapter box in conjunction with the Lodge Trading Post Chairman and take it to all chapter events.
  9. The chapter delivers a proposed budget to the Finance Vice Chief prior to, or during, the first scheduled Budget Committee Meeting.
  10. The chapter provides one or more members to perform as a Principal during at least 2 Pre-Ordeal, Ordeal, or Brotherhood Ceremonies.
  11. The chapter provides one or more youth dancers, who perform for at least 2 dance shows and one Sectional, Regional, or National event.
  12. The chapter sends at least two youth as representatives to each of the Vigil Selection meetings.

 

The Lodge Administrative Vice Chief will maintain and administer this award. This award is an Annual Award and will follow the calendar year of January through December. Petitions are due at the December LEC Meeting and shall be presented to the Administrative Vice Chief of the Lodge.
