Lodge Events

Fellowships

The Spring and Fall Fellowships are put on to bring together the members of the Lodge for fun activities and interesting seminars. Sports, from Indian handball to volleyball and others events, are a main part of the program at the fellowships. They are designed to be fun and to help train Lodge members for Section W3A Conclave competitions. Also on the schedule are seminars ranging from Indian dancing to unit election training and many more! At the Spring Fellowship, we hold the annual Lodge Officer Elections. Don't miss these events, an opportunity to see your OA friends and have fun!

Lodge Banquet

This annual event is the Lodge's opportunity to recognize those, individuals and groups, who have contributed the most to the Lodge during the past year. The awards presented include the Silver Fox Award, Founder's Award, Most Indian Committee, and Most Indian Chapter Awards. Along with the presentations of awards, the new Lodge Officers, Chapter Chiefs, and Committee Chairmen are sworn in to begin their term of office. Traditionally, we also tap-out our Vigil Honor candidates at this event.

Conclave

The W3A Section Conclave is one of the biggest events for Arrowmen to attend. Like a large Camporee, each of the Bay Area Lodges competes for the Section W3A Conclave Award. Also Most Indian Lodge-Award is presented to the Lodge, which has contributed the most to the Section over the past year. The Conclave offers many seminars for youth and adults, which range from ceremonies and leadership to sand painting and Native American regalia. Competitions include for example volleyball, Indian handball (a rugby, soccer, football game), and Indian dancing. If you like patch trading, this is one of the best opportunities you'll have. Don't miss this chance to have a weekend packed with fun and fellowship with hundreds of other Arrowmen.

Ordeals

The Lodge puts on three possible Ordeals per year, with one each in the Winter, Spring, and Fall. The purpose of the Ordeals is to induct new members into the OA and provide service to the Council. Another benefit of the Ordeals is the opportunity for fellowship with other members of the Lodge.
